Connection options
Where a vehicle needs its own electronic distance recorder, myRUC deploys RUCMonkey — specialist eRUC technology developed by the team behind myRUC. A wireless wheel sensor records distance and connects with the in-vehicle eRUC Display. It supports trucks, buses and trailers, including trailers that report distance independently from the towing vehicle. The wireless installation is designed to reduce time off the road.
Already using a compatible telematics platform? myRUC receives the distance and location information needed to manage RUC without replacing the systems your team relies on. The myRUC Heavy Display shows the current licence, while the central portal gives administrators RUC status, purchasing and records. Your existing approved mechanical hubodometer stays part of the setup.
For fleets that prefer electronic hubodometer data, the eRUC Plus setup combines an Electronic Hubodometer, GateReader and Electronic RUC Display. Distance is collected wirelessly and sent to myRUC. It also connects with compatible third-party telematics — suitable for mixed fleets and trailer-based operations that need asset-level distance records.
